Question temperature discrepancy

hi all,

the temperature reading displayed in my hwinfo taskbar compared with my AIO's LCD display for 'cpu temp' has a fair discrepancy. hwinfo displays ~45c whilst LCD display is showing mid 60s-low 70s. wondering if this is expected and which reading to go off.

What processor are you cooling with that AIO? As for your motherboard, please add the make and model of said motherboard as well as the BIOS version for said motherboard at this moment of time. Mentioning any overclocks for our ram or processor would also aid us two fold.

no overclocking of any sort
