Temperature issue of Zotac 9800GT

hey guys I have a real problem here...
I have Zotac 9800GT 1 GB DDR3.
I mount it on a PCI slot.. then install drivers and install software call filestorm. And what I see " temp. is 53 C"
when I play games for 20 minutes then it goes to the 72.

Now what can I do guys .. please help me ..
How can I fix this temp. isuue

Those temps are perfectly normal, and within the spec for the card - don't worry.
My worry threshold would be if your card goes above 90c when gaming.
If you want to bring the temps down you can use rivatuner or nvidia's ntune software to increase the fan speed of the card manually.

what if temp. goes 90C.. Then what I can do?
And in the software i.e rivatuner or ntune how much should I increase fan speed.
So that my my GPU stays cool and it doesn't damage any way...
 

You are fine as is. What is recommended to do is clean out the heat sink and fan on the card ones in a while dust and lint affects cooling a lot. I clean the internals of my computers at least every three months.

Seriously, those temps are fine. GPU's get seriously hot, and can even be a tiny bit toasty on idle, they are designed to cope under that sort of heat.

That applies doubly so for a card with an age like yours.

Like rolli59 says, keep your computer free of dust, get airflow over the card, and it will be happy.
