Temperature of CPU when playing games

So I recently built a new PC. It was my first PC build.

Consists of:

AMD FX 8350 (not overclocked)
Sapphire Vapor-X R9 270X 2GB (not in Boost Mode)
ASUS M5A97 R2.0
8GB Kingston HyperX RAM
Corsair CXM 500W PSU
Corsair 300R Case

I have listed the items I thought would help you answer the question. Please reply if I should list anything else.

I was playing the campaign of Battlefield 3. My video settings were all on ULTRA. There was no AA and no motion blur.

Using Hardware Monitor, I saw that the maximum my CPU Temperature reached was 63.4 degrees celsius. I reached this temperature after playing the campaign for about an hour or so. I would check regularly the temperature of the CPU and most of the time it would hover around 59-59 degrees.

I was wondering if this is bad? It seems quite high (but i'm new to computers so it may actually be fine)

I am not using any additional cooling such as extra fans or an aftermarket CPU cooler. I am using the stock CPU cooler and the 2 fans that were already included with the case. The PSU is facing up, so the fan is facing upwards.

Please could you tell me if the temperatures I reached are too high and if so, any ways I could decrease the temperature so it isn't too dangerous. I didn't notice anything happen such as frame skips. The average FPS i would get was around 80-90. It didn't dip lower than 70 I believe. I used the built-in FPS render using the console.

your cpu temp is perfectly fine....stock coolers that come with cpus are garbage...they get the job done but they dont do it well..wont keep things cool or quiet...if you want to get things running cooler and possibly have room to overclock in the future I would reccommend a cooler master hyper 212 evo...they perfrom excellent and wont break the bank...best bank for your buck for sure.
