Question Tempered glass looks foggy after cleaning

After cleaning my pc cases tempered glass side panel, twice in two days, using a mixture of lukewarm water and dish soap. Then using windex the next day, using a microfiber cloth with both solutions, the finished product is a foggy looking side panel. How can I get rid of the fog and make it clear again?

Could be a coating on the glass screwed up by the Windex. Try wiping it with a cloth dampened with rubbing alcohol. Then quickly wipe it with a clean dry cloth. I use 70% as 90% may be too harsh.

Don’t use alcohol on your glass to clean any glass use a mixture of vinegar and water. Wipe with an old clean soft cotton sheet or pillowcase

Not sure which method alcohol or water or vinegar? Why isn’t alcohol safe for tempered glass?
