Temporary Files taking up 107 GB?

Today I noticed my new rig had already used up 275 GB of hard drive space which I found odd and upon investigating I noticed when i go to storage settings it says my temporary files are taking up hundreds of gigabytes of space.

I did a disk clean up and deleted all temp files. Now when I go into storage settings, it's still saying temp files are using up 107 GB of my HDD space. When I click on temp files, it's showing only a couple hundred MB's of data being used...

This rig was build in July of 2018 so it's only a few months old, but I want to make sure I'm keeping it at optimal performance.

Someone please help?

When you open disk cleanup are there any categories of files showing significant storage values ?
Prior install files ?

Use CCleaner to remove temp files as well.

Are there windows.old folders anywhere ?

Does anyone have insight onto how to cut down on Win10 creating so many temp files?

I performed the regular searches but all I've found is how to clean up the files but no explanation or solution on how to resolve the issue.
