Temporary PSU > CPU cable

Hello, so I'm in need of a temporary PSU until I get paid in 2 weeks.

Now, I have one but the cable for the CPU has been cut.
I have used heat shrink on each of the individual 8 cables and electrical taped them as well, but it still leaves me with the issue of no CPU cable, so I was digging around and found one of these cables

would it be possible for me to use this, or do I risk damaging my components?

That a pcie cable meant for a GPU so it wont really Work if You have the cut particular you could try to fiz it
