(Temporary) Reliable Free Antivirus Program?

So my Free 60-Day Trial of Norton is going to expire today and I was wondering what good, reliable free antivirus software there is out there that I could use for about the next 3 months until Black Friday comes along for me to get a 2-year subscription to Norton 360 Security. I'd be super super happy if someone would help me out as soon as possible. I don't want to see my first custom computer hurt.

I have used Windows Defender (even though it's probably pretty bad) + MalwareBytes Anti-Malware. (now i have upgraded it to Premium, since i pretty liked it).

Avira, Avast, and AVG all have free versions (having said that, I just use the built-in MS AV...).

I use avast free antivirus along with malwarebytes anti malware.

Although Malwarebytes is an anti-malware program and not an antivirus, I would seriously recommend using it along with an antivirus such as Avira.

i would recommend malwarebytes (free) being used alongside any standalone antivirus. with manual scans of course not automatic.

for a free antivirus - avg, avast!, avira are all good choices. i personally like sticking with kaspersky since i've used them for years and trust the program.
