I have a temperature question. The area in the red square on my motherboard gets really hot. I'm not sure what it is on this particular motherboard, but I was curious if there was something I can do to help keep it cool. I suspect the temperatures are causing a thermal shutdown as none of the other components reach any significant temperature. There's no excessive dust buildup and all of my fans are running at full speed so there is plenty of other cooling. The CPU itself is water cooled.
The other potential culprit is the GPU, but it only gets up to about 80C so I doubt that would cause a shutdown. I've also posted the highest temperature that the suspected component reaches, usually under heavy load.
