Intel's website lists its maximum safe temp at 72.72C. http://ark.intel.com/products/80806/Intel-Core-i7-4790-Processor-8M-Cache-up-to-4_00-GHz (scroll down to Package Specifications and see TCase) If in doubt, re-apply thermal paste.
