Temps please help!!

Hey tomshardware I'm running a 4k monitor screen and I'd like to record my minecraft game play, so I've found a recorder I go to record and my CPU temps go up to 90C I'm using a corsair h100i CPU cooler please help me without recording I get around 70C on minecraft

you haven't given us enough information to help you. Depending on your processor, it is possible (but unlikely) that 90C is fine. I would reapply thermal paste, and make sure you get an even coating and that the cooler is installed correctly. Also, due to minecraft's shoddy coding, it isn't generally reliable enough to be used as a benchmarking software. I highly recommend the free version of the uniengine valley benchmark. cheers!

I've got a 2790k and I have tried reputting paste on it but it didn't help.

you've already posted this question previously at least twice before, and been asked to include your specs. Also, there was never an i7-2790k.
