[SOLVED] Temps too high on laptop

Hello, so I've never been aware of the Temps of my laptop while playing, I have it for 5 months now and I started feeling some micro crashes and weird lag in my mouse and went to check temps while playing. It's seems that it's bouncing between 75 and 90 and idle it goes between 45 and 60. Idk if this is the cause of the micro lags and delay in my mouse but it's concerning. If it's too hot how can I lower it? Is an external fan worth or there's something else I can do? The cpu fan works fine.

at what temp should it be running while gaming? Can the high temp have damaged my cpu or it can only kill it?

High temps will shorten the life of your CPU.
