tempurature monitor on pc

Hi there i have a gtx770 and am 8350 4ghz and i would like to monitor its tempuratures i see on pictures of peopel pc they have build in lcd screens into their cases which tells them teh tempurature what are these called are where can i buy tehm from. Also do i need to cut a hole in my case to accomodate it.??

does this mean I cant have a cd drive then if I have a fan controller

Most PC case have multiple slots for CD drive. But if you only have one, then you can't have a cd drive

just checked I have a spare slot what does the fan controller plug into to get its power. PSU or mobo?

It's connected to the MOBO for the fan controls and the PSU for power.

rather than install a lcd screen to monitor temperatures would a desktop gadget such as this one help to keep an eye on your temps ?
