Tergra 2 Vs. Eniac

This is actually a seriouse question, here goes. But first off, has anyone read about the first real computer that was developed back in 1947 for the US Army called Eniac? You can read about it on Wikipedia if you are not familliar with it. Well my question is... Is the new Nvidia Tegra 2 a faster and more powerful cpu than Eniac was? If so it took a total of 53 years to do that. Not bad actually.
Now I'm wondering what this ( http://www.smdc.army.mil/smdcphoto_gallery/Eagle/Feb07/28-Fig%203.jpg ) will look like in
another 53 years. Cool stuff huh?

Not only is tegra 2 faster than eniac, your pocket calculator is faster than eniac. Eniac was pitifully slow by modern standards. Here's a list of some processors, arranged by performance:

ENIAC: 0.05 MIPS
Intel 4004 (0.74 MHz): 0.097 MIPS
Intel 8080 (2 MHz): 0.5 MIPS
Intel 486DX (66MHz): 50 MIPS
Intel Pentium Pro (200MHz): 540 MIPS
AMD Athlon (1.2 GHz): 3560 MIPS
AMD Athlon FX-60: 19,000 MIPS
Intel Core 2 Quad QX6700: 50,000 MIPS
Intel Core i7 965: 76,000 MIPS
Intel Core i7 980x: 147,000 MIPS

As you can see, Eniac has been left in the dust pretty much ever since the invention of the integrated circuit. It's really quite amazing when you think about it, since at the time, it was the fastest available, and took up an entire room.

At CES they showed the Tegra 2 standing next to a dime. I wonder if they factored in scalability when they designed it and I wonder how 10 x 10 of those things and 8gb of ddr5 on a single pcb the size of a gtx580 would run. Rumor has it the next version of windows will support Tegra 2. A mini supercomputer the size of a video card? We can even go a step farther and jam 4 of those on a custom atx motherboard. And so on and so on I guess... I wonder if they are considering something like that.
Thanks for the info on Eniac guys. I'm glad I wasn't foot'n the electric bill for that thing.
