Hi
I have a dedicated Win 2003 server running Terminal server in my Win 2K
domain. This is in Paris. I can connect to the server via my LAN and open a
session and the printers on the client appear on the Terminal server as
Printer one session etc..allowing you to print locally. Applications all
launch okay and you can print. However we have another office in Moscow.
They too can connect and launch apps no problems via the internet, but the
printers don't
come accross. I have exactly the same printer and drivers on the Moscow
client as on the Terminal server. The connection comes via our firewall, I
have mapped port 3389 to the Terminal server, are there any other ports I
might be missing that could be preventing the printers from working? There
is no firewall in Moscow. I have applied the registry modification as
detailed in MS KB article Q302361."Printers That Use Ports That Do Not Begin
With COM, LPT, or USB Are Not Redirected in a Remote Desktop or Terminal
Services Session" Please can anyone help. This is rather urgent as I have a
guy in Moscow who is IT savy just for the next two days.
Thanks
William
