Terrible Lag in LAN games. No Lag Online

Hosting a minecraft server; me and my roomates join in all connected to the same router playing as a LAN game.
With just one person on there is no lag, with 2 people there is some lag, and with 3 people the lag is unbearable and people keep getting kicked.

Now we also LAN warcraft III, a very old game that should have no problem, yet same issue, the more people the worse it is, with 3 people we keep lagging out and getting dropped.

This is the strange thing; when I disconnect the wifi router from the modem so there is no internet, there is literally no lag at all in ether game.

We are paying for 100mbs internet and are all connected through Ethernet and it isn't slow if all of us are on doing different internet stuff.

Modem: ARRIS SURFboard SB6190 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem
Wifi Router: TP-Link Archer C7 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Router

I don't understand, I already have a switch connected to the wifi router so I can connect two of my computers to it without running 2 long cables. But the switch doesn't seem to do anything other than act as a Ethernet spliter.

This is my setup:

Tried taking the Switch out of the equation but still have the same issue.

When connecting to the server we just type the local IP the Wifi router generates, not our actual IP

I'll try borrowing another router soon and give a update if it works.
