Hello all.
after a long time without a desktop computer i desided to buy one.
Because of work and family i went for a Hp omen desktop.
I know this isnt a high end pc, but it was somthing we could afford at this time.
The pc is: HP Omen 870-250no
It has:
Cpu: i5-7400
GPU: 1070
Ram 8gb 2133 mhz
SSD 250gb.
i downloaded Bf1 and changed the settings to 1920x1080 144hz.
I get around 40-60 fps on medium pre selected settings.
Will it help to upgrade the ram or is the pc totaly garbage?.
the point of buying the pc, was for me to be able to play destiny 2 at 1920x1080 144hz.
and have it as a family computer for all to enjoy.

Sorry for bad english!
Best regards: Frank

Make sure Vsync is turned off. Also what monitor are you using? If it's running at 60Hz or has G-Sync, your frames are being limited to avoid tearing. If it's a 60Hz+ monitor, go to nvidia's control panel and turn of V-Sync under 3-d settings. Do the same in-game.

Iam using a 1920x1080 144hz monitor.
Tryed v-sync off ingame, didnt help.
Going to try to turn it off in nvidia panel and see if that makes a different.

I think you are right!
Tried every setting and cant get stable fps 60+
Drops from 80 to 25 and so on.
I hope the rig will be able to run destiny 2 atleast.

BF1 is a CPU monster, I doubt destiny 2 will be.

if i can get my hand on a i5-7600k or i7-7700 cheap u think a pre-build desktop could run it? with a 300w power spply?
