I am having a hard time figuring out what my issue is here. My gpu usage is high, temps are fine, and I have updated drivers yet I get around half the performance of benchmarks I see for the 1070ti. I just upgraded it from an rx580 and made sure to use ddu to uninstall all the amd drivers before installing the nvidia drivers.
My system specs are:
Asus prime-a motherboard
i7 8700
2x8GB 3000mhz ram
msi gtx 1070 ti
evga 850w psu

I'm at a loss here. I've tried looking on the internet, I've tried changing settings in the nvidia control panel. At this point I don't know what to do.

Most of those boobtube benchmarks are more of a disservice to people than helpful. Is your hardware EXACTLY THE SAME? It has to be in order for to expect the same performance and even then a lot of time the settings will also come into play and you never know is actually reporting good info and who isnt. Can you be a little more specific, what games, resolution, expected performance? Also do you have v sync enabled? Or any other fps limiter?
