I don't think there is a key fob that can't be cloned. My favorite video are of guys cloning key fobs while the person is in there house. A good 50 feet away clone, that is a bit more impressive.

There is a simple solution to this: Good encryption on the key-fobs that prevents them from being easily cloned.
