Question Test Storage Health/Defects and Speeds?

Hello

When I buy a Monitor – I would get out software to test it for defects and make sure it’s running properly etc…

In a similar way - what’s the best methods and software to test new storage drives of various kinds and speeds for Win 10/11)?

I want to test new drives and old ones, to see if they are both healthy and work as well as they should be…. And I will also want to test their various speeds eg read write etc?

I intend to have PCIE 3 and 4 drives, SSD, HDD and maybe External HDD/SSD… so basically most types.

Testing HDDs can be done with Seatools for Windows (even non-Seagate HDDs).

Use the SSD utility (like Samsung Magician or equivalent) to check those.
