Hello everyone. I have an ATI 5850 that was working great until today. I pulled it out to help a friend test his card, which we found out was working fine. I went to put my card back in and now the computer starts up but the light on the monitor stays orange and does not turn on. Any suggestions on things I can try to fix this? Thanks!

Are you sure of all the connections and gpu seating on the mobo????.
And you did connect the 6-8 pin connectors??
I don't know if this will work with one of today's computers, used to way back when, remove the gpu, clean the edge connectors, unplug the system from the mains then turn it on a couple of times with the power switch, now leave it for a while, say 10 min, this trick used to work on the cache ram on older mobo's, had to take out the tag ram tho'...:)

I did pull the card out and reseat it a few times to make sure. Both PCI-E power connectors are plugged in and I even tried the other 2 PCI-E connectors on the power supply. I will look into your other solution :) Thanks
