Testing hardware on refurbished laptop

Hi, I just got this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834232707 today and I want to test to make sure it runs well as its a return only item and I didn't bother with the service warranty after reading up on the complaints with that company that offers it.

I don't know too much about testing for defects or anything for laptops but I read people stress test their computers to check to see if everything runs stable like Prime 95, Intel Burn Test, Intel Extreme Tuning Utility, HWiNFO, and QwikMark Portable.

Are those I mentioned above, aimed at what I'm trying to find out about my refurbished purchase?

Your refurbished laptop should be 100% stable since it has gone into the asus plant for refurbishing. But to double check, I suggest using the real bench by ROG. It's a great stress tester.
