tests which show the good of RIMMs?

I'm looking for some tests / application tests which show where Rambus and the i840 chipset might really shine against SDram and the Via chipset. (photoshop tests, 3DS max tests, etc...)

I'm right on the edge as my "dream" i840 dual 1000 system would cost me $2600 and a dream dual via system would run me $1400 (and the case is already here and looks lonely)

To my knowledge a P3 does not at all benefit from RDRAM. And if it does it's VERY small.

I believe that it might have been Business Mark that showed it's advantages (bismark? I'll take a rasberry)! But seriously, check the OLD reviews Tom did before he began showing hatred toward Rambus and Intel. Look back 4-6 months in his reviews.
