Hey guys, i've an old router which im not using and an older Samsung android phone. My goal is to provide internet to multiple pcs through Mobile's data. What would i need to check first to know if thats possible? Some users pointed out that i could buy a Micro Usb to Ethernet adapter and connect the phone with the router and the router with my PCs. Though they've pointed out to check if there's a WAN port first which i m not sure it has.

Technicolor TG788v v3 is a DSL router using phone line, it does not have a ethernet WAN port. Will be useless in your case.

Use NetShare APP to share internet. All of your PC of course need wifi adapters

Its not clear; do you want to connect your PCs to a router via ethernet cable or wifi? If you want to use ethernet the you could turn your phone into a hotspot, buy a wifi to ethernet adapter and the buy an ethernet switch to connect to the ethernet adapter and PCs. This would allow your PCs to be networked with each other. Also its not clear if your Samsung phone would support outputting a wan signal through its usb port since you don't name the specific Samsung model.

Damn, that sucks i guess. Im stuck with either buying a new one or getting multiple adapters right?

The old android phone im referring to is a "Samsung Galaxy A10" released early 2020 or late 2019 maybe.
The goal is to connect multiple devices via ethernet cable to the existing router that will eventually(hope so) use Mobile's Data through an ethernet to micro usb cable via tethering.

Iantis3 said i might not be able to do that cause i have a DSL router though.

Check if your A10 let you turn on USB tethering.

If yes, then A10 with a (micro or usb C, didn't check) USB cable to ethernet to your WAN port of existing router (not old Technicolor you mentioned) might work (but don't count on it because of possible driver issues). All PCs then connect to existing router with ethernet cables.

Youtuber did not mention what phone

the adapters he mentioned in his comment
USB Type-C to Ethernet https://amzn.to/3rQGgpB
Belkin USB-C to Ethernet Adapter https://amzn.to/3rMLmTE

A switch might be better and they are not expensive. Also I scanned the phone's manual for usb and there was no discussion of using the usb as an output port for wifi tethering so you would have to contact Samsung support to determine if you can connect the phone via usb c cable to a router or switch. And you would most likely have to buy a usb c to ethernet adapter to connect the phone to a router or switch.
