Im not sure if this is a windows 7 issue or a systems one.
I somehow messed this up and can't seem to figure out how to fix it. It make reading difficult and sometimes I can't even see the boxes/drop down window etc. where you're supposed to enter info on some sites (like email address). This is on every site and even the favorites bar type is washed out. For example, In this link http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/31/new_thread.htm on my screen the www. and everything after.com is light grey. Only tomshardware.com looks somewhat normal although here where I am typing it it is still washed out.

It's intentional in Firefox. It's called URL formatting.
You can disable it if you want, and that will make the whole URL black :)
Just follow these simple steps:
1- type about:config in the Location/URL bar and press Enter.
2- if you see a warning, accept (promise to be careful)
3- Type in the filter area: "browser.urlbar.formatting.enabled"
4- in the lower panel, double-click that item to toggle its value from TRUE to FALSE
A firefox restart may be needed

I actually don't have FIrefox installed anymore since my first post.
I actually made most everything better by adding a font enhancer extension. Now the only thing that looks off or hard to see are the box outlines (search box, info boxes like where to enter email and passwords)and the stars in my email. Some pages are so bad I just have to click around where I think it should be until I find it, then it shows up a little better when the cursor is in the box.
But thank you for trying...if you figure out the invisible boxes thing that would be great!
