Texture Glitches in Multiple Games and While on Internet

Hum,

Going to add to the prior poster,
It can be bad video ram on the card.
Or it can be down to the video driver for the Ati card used.
But can also happen when the, memory of the video card reaches a very hot temperature.

The question is when does it happen or start to happen in respect to the amount of time.
Straight away on games or after a few minuets, or an hour of playing a game.

If you had a card in the system before the R7240. you should remove all old video drivers from windows/ uninstall them first.

Even prior to it if another Ati based card was used. But more important is if an Nvidia based card was used.

Lastly if the mother board also has on board graphics, And is Mixed.
Example Intel cpu with Integrated graphics, then take a trip into the bios of the board.

And if it can be disabled do so via the options.
Also make sure that the Ati card is set up as the primary display adapter.
In a field in the bios Pci-e should be set first.

Save the setting in the bios before exiting it.

And then test the card for artifacts again with the effected games.

The very one last condition relates to the power supply and the wattage it is.
Even if the card does not use a Pci-e 12v power connector to the card.

So state the wattage, also post the motherboard brand you are using along with its model number.

Post back with the results.

Found in System Information, let me know if there is anything else you need to see

Ok just had a look.

I need you to confirm how many video adapters it says are running with windows.

The board in use is actually an Msi 670, that states it has on board video.

Click on start, control panel in windows.
Next on system and security .
Then on device manager located in blue lettering to the right.

In window once loaded are display adapters. Left mouse click on the monitor icon in the list.

Does it list two adapters there?

Or just the Ati 240 card you have.

Right thanks,

You confirmed it was just the R7 240 card being used for graphics.
I suggest that you install if you have not a more new Ati video driver for the card.

Please click on the link bellow.
http://support.amd.com/en-us/download

Your System card is : Desktop Graphics.
Family is : Radeon R7 series.

Product : R7 2XX series.

Then select the OS you have, making sure if the os is 32bit or 64 bit.

If it fails to clean up the screen problems.
Then your last resort is to return the card as the video memory may be faulty memory on the card it`s self. So its RMA it.

Hopefully though the new driver should clean things up if you download it and install the new driver, fixing the screen and texture glitches.

Let me know if it worked.
