Please guys anyone that has seen those screens give us some input, this is hte first time we showed anything outside our studio.

This are really old alpha shots, no game play shots yet we are crunching bugs out of the game play before we take them :)

Those taken at what, 1024x768? AA? AF? They seem very dark, your character model is almost completely obscured in all of them. Is that a gamma issue, or a shading issue?

they look good


it looks like you are running lower color precision or something, because theres alot of banding (aside from the jpeg compression). and the textures are kinda "blah". but ,i seen some water effects from those upright cylindrical containers and those were impressive


give us some up to date screen shots! :)

no actaully we were also testing out lighting structure and going through the best possible lighting effects (we are going to add in there glowing warning lights).

its 1600x1200 most screens have over 200k polys and the test card was an fx 5900, these screens where taken a while back. No AA and AF. It was too much for the card to handle as it was.

yes we haven't added in soft shadows yet. Waiting on SM 3.0 for that, because soft shadows need about 7-8 passes and that will kill the engine in 2.0. It can be done with texture mapping but I want to stick with stencil shadows

Not bad, but i think you need alittle more detailed textures. And the shadows need some work. Lighting isn't bad. Probably look alittle better on a card with better iq then a FX5900. Is this game being produced for a company already or is it an attempt to get one?

well these are really old shots we are waiting on Crytek to send us patch 1.2's code that will slove alot of the problems.

I thats the true the textures are kinda plain.

Hopefully we get a publisher (the fully demo will look much better we spent alot more time with the artwork. This one was just to test everything)


But if we don't we will self publish :)
