Alot of people disagree on this as far as I know, and the end result always
comes round to an agreement to disagree.

A gaming mouse as an example, most people will agree on or certainly on a
top three. At the moment it seems to be the MX products that are the most
popular.

Monitors however, is down to personal preference. No two sets of eyes are
the same and therefopre, no one is going to agree on anything.

Personally I use a TFT monitor, but only because of space, however if I had
the space I'd opt for a 20" CRT monitor, purely because the colours are so
much crisper.

Response time now, are very similar with TFT monitors achieving 8ms response
times on 19" models which isn't too shoddy at all.

Rather than go on the advice on others, quite honestly, I'd go to a store,
and ask to see the picture quality that each one has with a type of game you
use. If they really want to sell a monitor, they'll show you. You don't buy a
car without test driving it first.

In addition.....

The monitor you've got there, looks to be an excellent monitor on paper,
quick response time, 17" size for a great price. £205.00 for a 17" TFT
monitor with those specs is probably one of the best deals I've seen this
year.

Have a gander at Samsung, and also Video 7 monitors. Both very good and
competitive.
