TFT Shadows ???

Hi i wonder if anyone has experienced the problem that i am getting with the tft type of monitor , i can see to the immediate right of images a slight shadow of the text/image it is most noticable with the straight line of the edge of a window etc

It is very annoying i have replaced the svga lead as when i was given the monitor the guy forgot to give me the lead ...

Could i have replaced the lead with something sub standard as it was an inexpensive lead i bought ???

Any help would be appreciated ...

That's a classic indication of poor vga signal. Either the cable is cheap or too long for the workmanship involved. In any case, don't get inexpensive cables, make sure they are shielded (especially if you use extensions). Doesn't have to be the most expensive just get the best you can afford. It's worth it.
