TFX psu sound, brand new.

Hello, I installed a TFX psu for a dell optiplex 9010 DT. I've installed it today, now with my old psu it didnt make any sound, but with the fortron one it is making a high pitch noise when the PC is on. By the way I installed it myself with all of the knowledge I had. Return the PSU and buy a more well reviewed product.

Dell PSUs are quality parts, and are designed to power every bay, expansion slot and PSU the computer supports. In ATX you might find something as good in the better brands. But an off brand TFX is just looking for trouble.

Hmm so should I put back in the original dell psu? With the new one it works fine just sounds weird, it is 80+ bronze certified, my friend told that the sound comes from it because of the coils getting used to the power..
Here it is, this company is pretty good, they aren't like some bad psu manufacturers..

FSP says that should be a very quiet unit. I would contact their tech support.
