[SOLVED] Thaiphoon Burner Incorrect?

Solution
Hello. I just received this ram today.

G.skill AEGIS DDR4 3200mhz C16 2x8gb
Model F4-3200C16-8GIS

In Thaiphoon Burner my ram is recognised as SAMSUNG B-Die. This surprised me since I though tb-die was exclusive to Trident Z and Flarex CL14 models.

Is this correct?

Yeah it's b-die. I have Patriot Viper Steel series 4000Mhz and mine are the same "low" quality K4A8G085WB-BCPB b-die. The B at the end of WB shows the die. You can see all the different DDR4 from Samsung here https://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/dram/ddr4/.

Solution
Rather surprising. This ram was only $55.
My two Patriot kits were only $105 in October for my first one and $90 for the second during the black Friday sales. I actually only bought the second kit because it was for a for a friend, but they changed their build and ended up needing a 2x16GB kit for a mini-itx board. Running both kits at 3000Mhz 14-14-14-34 1.35v on my B450 and Ryzen 5 2600.
