Nope.

your computer always needs a trickle of power. when you use your computers button to turn it off, youre not killing ALL power to it.

when we build comps and change psu's we have to "purge" the system of all power by pressing the on/of switch for 10 seconds, even after its off. using your psu on/off swith too often can shorten its life span also.
