One of my favorite pastimes is spider hunting in the Sollen hive.
I've only got 800 and change luck, so I don't expect great loot,
but I get nice stuff for my tailor to enhance. Seeing as my
tailor wasn't on last night, I went spider hunting.

First thing I notice, the spawn is on steroids. Much faster
re-spawning kept me on my toes, was quite enjoyable. Also, the
loot seems subtly better.

What really made my evening was a pair of rings. I got them both
in the span of 10 minutes, which I think is the truly amazing
part.

One had 5% cold and energy resist, the other had +3 to resisting
spells and 3% SDI. That's nothing to get excited about, but this
is... they both had 20$ LRC!

I vaguely recall someone saying that loot/luck get a boost (that
fades) with every patch. Is that confirmed or theory?

Yea. Things have been kind of nutz with the loot. Even the valpore bunnies
are dropping mad loot. Hell. I even had a earth elly drop a +11 taming
bracelet with 10% potion increase, 1 faster casting and 3 cast recovery down
in dispise. I was like WTF?! lol

Good grief man, how many kits do you have?

I have 3 suits in my undress bag. Luck (816), LRC (100%), and
what I call my battle suit (best resists I can get and LMC). All
permanently under construction.

Some playing around at stratics has me thinking of a change to
mana regen on the battle suit, hence my runic adventures in
another thread.

I recently tweaked my LRC suit so that I could wear my Helm.
Looks like I will be tweaking it again for additional resists.

I have similar theories about server up. Some time ago I was
hunting sollen warriors for gold, and this poor sap kept ducking
out of the nest to confirm he was killing the right critter to
get a pet ball.

After an hour I offered to give him one, but he insisted on
continuing. I think he spent about 2 hours down there before he
finally got one. However, very early one morning, I recall
pulling 4 pet balls out in the course of one ambitious quest.

Mana Regen is great on any warrior's suit...
Thanks to some lucky looting, i've managed to slip in 2 mp regen and 2 stamina
regen on my own suit, it's been more than enough to keep the mana churning, and
cover for not having any Focus skill. :}

remotely decent Samurai Armor for Cy...and some Ninja PJs for my miner to punch
mountains in. hehe*
