The Audio Service is not running on Windows 10

I'm using Windows 10,my system is AMD based so I'm using AMD Radeon settings and my headphones are Logitech G430's.

I've been having this intermittent issue for several months now and its very frustrating. I've tried following this guide here http://troubleshooter.xyz/wiki/fix-audio-services-not-responding-windows-10/ but it doesn't work because every time I try and restart both "Windows Audio Service" or "Windows Audio Endpoint Builder",the progress bar will go about half-way through pretty quickly and then slow to a crawl,eventually ending with "Windows could not stop the Windows Audio service on local computer" Error 1053,untimely fashion

I need to restart my computer several times to get my audio back.I don't know what to do at this point,any help would be appreciated

What AV / firewall program is installed?

AVG I think it was a few yrs ago, caused a similar error.

I think this was caused by a bung update or something. It deleted a valid file / or something

I'm using Norton but also have Malwarebytes installed as a backup ( I much prefer it but don't have the money to buy it for myself,using the family package of Norton )

Edit: Also using Windows Firewall
