The balance levels between my right and left speaker are often uneven (1-2 values off)

In the screenshots I am raising the volume normally which increases the value by 2 but the numbers will randomly not match. No matter what I do there is always a similar inconsistency displayed. Sometimes the values are off by 1 as shown in the picture. Sometimes they are off by 2. Sometimes it's the left that's higher, sometimes it's the right. Sometimes the values are uneven every other time I raise the volume. Sometimes it may take 5 volume raises to show uneven values. If I manually set the same even numbers they will still mismatch as I raise or lower the volume.

Here is another example where I manually set the audio to 45 and as I raised the volume the values were completely skewed.

Is this just a visual glitch or is this actually altering the volume and outputting uneven balance? I've noticed some uneven audio at times with my speakers but it's hard to tell if it's in my head or a legit problem.

You would not notice a balance difference that little off. What may be is you may have your head tilted or closer to one speaker, or maybe your ear is a bit blocked on one side that day or minute or hour.
