The best gaming monitor?

Hello everyone.

I think i want a new monitor, this one seems to get some problems.

Some people say a 144Hz monitor is way more better, but i think thats not my case since i only play games such as payday 2, or battlefield. and not those competetive games.

My gpu is a Msi geforce gtx 970. So i usualy get 60+ fps, but not 140 in bf4.

My budget is around 350-400 $
What would be better, a 144Hz or maybe 2 60Hz monitors?
Wich monitor do you prefer?

Surround is awesome with three screens but much more demanding than a single 1440p monitor. 144hz will be the fastest for gaming but at the comprimise of color accuracy. A 1440p monitor will look better than the 144hz monitor but won't have the same speed and won't feel as immersive as surround setup. I would recommend getting the 2x 60 hertz monitors for the surround setup as its my favorite way to play battlefield 4.

Not necessarily... there are a few IPS panels out there above 60 Hz

I would recommend 3x 1080p monitors for surround setup. The few ips panels that go above 60 hertz are really expensive.

Isn't it better to spend your money on a good ultra wide screen?
I like the way if surround setup but i hate those ''borders'' of the screen

It depends. Ultra wide tend to be less wide and much more expensive. The borders are not a big deal to me but your mileage may vary.

That's a good point. Wich monitors do you use? And do you have any recommendations for 3 monitors with a small border and under the price of 350-400 $ for the 3 in total?

and will my single gtx 970 handle gaming on 3 monitors xD
i dont play bf4 much actualy. It's more payday wich is not as heavy as bf4

Your gtx 970 will be to handle pretty much any game at 5760x1080p as long as your don't mind reducing settings. It's will handle payday just fine.

Do you have any other monitors that you recommend with a small bezel and for gaming?
I have never orderd something from amazon, and i only hear negative reactions from my friends. i live in the netherlands so the shipping will be also verry expensive. This monitor is also not for sale at dutch webshops.

I have been searching around for some other monitors on some dutch webshops and i came across this one:

Is it a decent monitor? It has some bigger bezzels, but i think you will get used to that

Im realy thinking about buying some monitors, because this one is very bad and work not as good anymore,
but i can also upgrade my system,.

I have a gtx 970 with a fx 6300 which causes a bottleneck. I overclocked it to 4.5 GHz so that reduces the bottleneck a bit.
I can also just upgrade my system to a intel i5 4590k, with a good mobo and some extra ram....

Is my 970 and fx6300 going to be a problem with the triple monitors? I know i asked it earlier, but i never said i had a fx 6300
