The best gpu for intel core 2 duo E8400

Hi to everyone,

I have an intel core 2 duo E8400 3 Ghz and 4 GB Ram. I have the old Asus EAH HD 4650 1 GB DDR2. I am considering to buy a new GPU for my pc. What is the best GPU for core 2 duo E8400? I know that I cannot play much games in ultra, but I want better game performance than that of HD 4650 and I do not want bad bottleneck in the games. I heard that GTX 650ti, GTX 750ti, Radeon R7 260x or 265x may be suitable and also a lot of people say that Nvidia is better.

a gtx 750 ti would be the best bet for that cpu .. the cpu is old but still performs fairly in some games ... get a gtx 750 ti or you can opt for the r7 265x

I do not know the reason but as I mentioned, a lot of people say Nvidia is better than Radeon.

gtx 750 ti should be better than the r7 265 .. of the two i would go with the 750 ti ,better driver support less heat and power
