Does it? As long as he dosent want to overclock to anything above 1000Mhz, he can just get the cheapest modules.

Yeah, if you're not overclocking, try to get the company with the best RMA and customer service department....

If overclocking, usually go with the tighter timings, as those modules usually can reach higher frequencies at eased timings.
