that's an 11 year old computer. any upgrade will be cosmetic at best.

Be sure to update the bios first. For $7 the core 2 duo would shame the original cpu. But don't expect much out of the platform.

Whatever you upgrade on this rig, it won't be worth it. If only it supported Core 2 Quad CPUs and 8GB of memory, it would be a whole different story, but it is stuck on old dual cores. New budget build would be advised.
