i have an hpx20led..its native resolution is 1600*900...now i when my cousin put the 1920*1200 resolution...it looks best for it...INPUT NOT SUPPORT comes while i get the incorrect resolution...but i didnt showed at 1920*1200 and everything looks brilliant...and i know only 23 inch can get that high resolution...so do i set it as my permenent resolution>????

1600x900 is the maximum resolution that the monitor will display. That should be your permanent resolution.

but...when i set this resolution it didnt showed the whole screen....as if the reolution is so short for my monitor and i have installed all drivers for the led....1920*1200 looks good...my monitor says...RESOLUTION SUPPORTED....could i set this???

To say that "1600x900 is the maximum resolution that the monitor will display" is incorrect.
1600 X 900 is its native resolution. That does not mean it is the maximum resolution.

Now im not sure what is going on with your display or the drivers but its been known for drivers to incorrectly report support for resolutions. I had a 15" monitor way back that the drivers reported silly numbers for as being supported, 2560 x 1600 for example, clearly not going to happen.

The Native Res is where your monitor should look its best. Its what it is made to do it has the correct amount of pixels in a pattern that supports this resolution. All other resolutions it used will be interpolated (made up) the best it can.

But hey if it looks good to you and its supported then go right ahead and set it.
