I had to reinstall OS due to failed Win 8.1 installation and C drive was wiped out. I have SSD (C) and HHD (D). I had about 10 games installed, such as Crysis 3, Tomb Rider, etc. Most of them from different companies- some run on Steam, some on UbiSoft and so on. I was trying to install games on D drive, but they usually still place their directories on C drive. I am concerned that I may have broken data on D stored without link to programs folders that were on C. I do not know what was were. I know- I will need to install Steam and other platforms, but how do I clean this mass up and reinstall everything back without duplicated data? I would want to try to open games from D drive- may be they are ok, but I don't have Desktop icons any more.
Also- are there any known games that failed after Win 8.1 update that I should not install? (Not asking for the list- I got most of my games with video card this summer. I had Greed 2, and something else... Thank you.
