I'm receiving this error on my hp laptop when i try to boot.

The boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible
and:

Windows failed to start. To Fix the problem:
1) insert your windows installation disc and restart your computer.
2) Choose your language settings & then click 'next.'
3) click 'repair your computer. If you do not have this disc, contact your system adminstrator or computer manufacture for assistance.

My mouse/keyboard do not work. I've tried a second mouse which didn't work aswell.
What can I do now

Just a wild guess now. Try -

1) insert your windows installation disc and restart your computer.
2) Choose your language settings & then click 'next.'
3) click 'repair your computer. If you do not have this disc, contact your system adminstrator or computer manufacture for assistance.

You didn't say that the keyboard and mouse were unresponsive. You should at least have keyboard. When you switch the laptop on, can you press the numlock key and see the LED switch off and on? If so, then the keyboard should work.

Go into your Bios settings by powering the laptop on, then pressing the DEL key, or it may be the F2 key.(it differs on each device) within the first 10 seconds. Look for Boot order with the bios menus, and make sure your DVD rom is at the top of the list, followed by your HDD. Save that, then restart and see if you can boot the Windows DVD and carry out the repair as i7baby suggested.

Ok ill try. Is it normal for the mouse not to work in this stage?
