So I have a company called Atlantic Broadband and they give me a single router/modem thing.
I don't know what its called but they said its both in one. They connected the cable from in my basement up to my room, but they didn't give me any extra cable to pull my router. I want to move my computer to the other side of the room but i need to lengthen the cable from the existing one, I need to know what the cable is called. I need a female prong to connect to the existing cable, and a male prong to connect into my router/modem thing when i move it to the other side of the room
Edit: I saw something similar to it at walmart and it was called a RG6 COAX Cable, but both prongs are male. plus the cable at walmart says "TV - SATELLITE - CABLE/ANTENNA - DVR - F TYPE JACK" so does that include internet?
