The cheapskate eGPU build.

Okay, so today I bought a $21 "500W" PSU (US$15) along with a US$5 cable to power up my old R7 370 on a DIY eGPU (I have a RX 480 now).
Strangely the sticker on the PSU says 12V@ 25A max on the 12V rail. That is 300W maximum. Furthermore the PSU does not have a 6-pin plug and only has an ATX plug, 4 SATA plugs, 2 Molex plugs and a 4-pin plug.
Is this sufficient to power just the 150W GPU only? If so is it safe to use the 2 Molex plugs to 1 6-pin plug?

Yes it is, but the reason it is so cheap is because it does not have good quality components and does not have any protections so in case of a failure it might fry your videocard too. Think twice before doing this.

Any good eGPU adapters out there?
I cant find one below US$50 for my R7.

EDIT: Will the i5 3230M and mini PCI-e x1 bottleneck the R7 370?
