I agree. What a let down ending.
The ending wouldn't have been so bad IF it had been stated up front that
this is an unfinished story. Much like the feeling some people
expressed who walked out of the first Lord of the Rings movie not
knowing the story. I can still remember them say as the 3rd hour
approached, "How are they going to rap this movie up?"
And so much seemed to be missing from the story compared to the
trailers. Cortona saying "Betch'ya can't stick it." Where was that?
I find myself still replaying H2 but more so still going back to H1 for
straight up fun and game play.

As many have realised now, that was a demo, conjured up to
placate/tantalise fans. But perhaps developers should prefix demos
with a notice stating it may not resemble the final product.
We see that with game demos but as people are starting to equate game
trailers with film trailers such a notice might prevent a few people
getting disappointed.

I guess that is why they call it a cliffhanger, have to wait until Halo 3 to
see.

Cortona saying "Betch'ya can't stick it." Was taken out for unknown
reasons. Bungie had to take out the actual new mombasa level and replaced
it with the Metropolis level.

They are making makeing of Halo 3. The xbox 2 system will have better
quality graphics than PS3(whatever they call the d*** thing) All i know is
that Halo 3 is what we belived halo 2 would be.
