Question The games I play have fps drops when recording on obs which is in the second monitor

Hello!

I have a problem, when I record on Obs my game has little fps drops which are pretty noticeable. I play on my primary monitor which is 165hz and the obs itself is recording the primary monitor but on my second monitor, which is 60hz. In every game, the fps drops occur. And when I hit stop recording then lags wanish.

Please help me! I have suitable hardware too, TX 3070 ti. Ryzen 5 5600x with 16gb 3200mhz ram.

Is the game on the same drive as OBS studio?

How many frames is it dropping when recodring with OBS?

I recently tried OBS for screen capping gameplay. Honestly, Nvidia's GeForce Experince does a better job with smoother output then OBS. I haven't had a chance toput together the Nvdia captures as a comparison yet.

My gameplay on screen was smooth compared to what OBS was able to actually capture;
