[SOLVED] The Godfather the game crashes trying to load saves.

When I try and load a previous save it says loading, but as soon as my character starts to appear a large black box shows up in its place and the game crashes. I can create new characters but loading does not work for any saves.

-Legitimate copy purchased with registration code.
-Ran in Windows XP (Service Pack 2) compatibility mode.
-Ran program as administrator.
-Renamed 'movies' folder to 'movies_'
-Tried restarting PC

Legit copy purchased from who/where? Have you checked their support pages to see if it's an issue with them?

Ran in XP SP2? What is the native OS? Other games having issues?

Native OS: Windows 10
Cannot find same issue on any other forums.
Original disk purchased from Goodwill.
Registration code still good and disk is basically brand new.

SilentPatch also allows widescreen without stretch.

Installing the Silent Patch seems to have fixed the issue for now. Thanks a million!
