With the 950 just coming out, I'm sure they'll get another update in a near future. =p Past that, those stats can still be used as a reference and since no one likes AMD (I kid I kid), the 970 still probably gets you some of the best power per $. If all else fails, http://gpuboss.com/ is still a nice place to compare two cards and see what you're more interested in.

I agree -- I've been looking for updated GPU and CPU charts and recommendations since the 6th gen CPU's were released. I'm ready to pull the trigger on finally upgrading my Z68/I2500K system, but won't until I see the recommendations from Toms!

Not worth upgrading IMHO. Just a mild OC on your 2500k will bring you skylake performance.

The Hierarchy chart is 'dated' from last December ... but someone has the new Nvidia cards on it, but not any of the new AMD cards?
