The Great Debate - GTX 760 VS. Radeon 7970

Hello, all. I wanted to start a thread where everyone can discuss and debate which card is better for specific purposes, mainly gaming. If you could supply facts, pros & cons, benchmarks, performance tests, etc. for each card, that'd be best. I myself have been struggling between choosing the 760 or 7970 and would also like to know which card would be best for a gaming PC. I've done exstensive research and still can't decide. I'd like everyone to talk about each type of 760 & 7970 (EVGA, AMD, MSI, etc.) as well and how which type/brand is best for each card.

Assume the card is for gaming on max settings on each game on a 1920x1080 screen.
