The green power light keeps on flickering and the monitor does not come on

my LG monitor cannot come on.the green power light goes straight to green and continues to flicker .once the power button is presses the monitor tries to come on but quickly goes off.a clicking sound of a switch is head.

Try using it on another computer if you can

but I am sorry to say it sounds like the monitor is dead
the clicking sound of a switch is more than likely a safety shutoff
because of a short circuit on the monitors circuit board
basically like a circuit breaker in a house

but if you can try on another computer that would be a good thing
