The GTX 980 ti (gigabyte g1 gaming) 1440p or 1600p?

Hey Guys!

I'm planning to buy the gtx 980ti g1 gigabyte gaming when it comes out.
Also I'm planning to buy new monitor so i'm wondering if a single 980 ti will handle 1600p
on ULTRA maxed settings with msaa on with around 60fps in games like gta V crysis 3 battlefield AC unity...
Help me please !

it can handle 4k even on playable fps, so im pretty sure it would do just fine with 1600p

But I really cannot decide what should be the best for this GPU 1440p with 120 or 144hz or 1600p with 60hz.
Can you make some suggestions?

Beacuse when the future games comes out with bigger qualities I still wan't to have a good fps
so I really don't know if 1600 or 1440.:/

good thing about a 980 Ti is that you can SLI down the road provided your PSU can handle it and will be a beastly rig. really depends if you prioritize the performance in playing first person shooter games over quality. going 1440p 120hz/144hz will be smoother performance, going 1600p 60hz will give better quality image/resolution

You don't need MSAA with Maxwell, it unnecessarily clogs the memory pipe. Use MFAA instead.
